Welcome to 14th Winchester Scout Group

While we follow Covid-19 Government advice, we continue holding meetings via the wonders of Video Conferencing so our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts can keep seeing each other, and through our online management system. This allows activities and challenges to be completed at home and submitted to leaders who are still keen to award the badges that our young people love so much!

Welcome to the 14th Winchester Scout Group, which covers the area to the northeast of Winchester in Hampshire.  We have over 120 children in our Group, who live in the villages surrounding Sutton Scotney, South Wonston, Worthy Down, Micheldever, Wonston, Barton Stacey and beyond.  We comprise two Beaver colonies (6-8), two Cub packs (8-10½) and two Scout troops (10½-14).

Our adults have fun too!  Join as one of our Leaders and help out occasionally during the evenings, or support the administration behind the scenes.  There is plenty to do, whatever your skills and interests!  https://scouts.org.uk/what-we-do/volunteer-training/

Our youngsters enjoy a varied programme of adventurous activities in safe and fun environments, helping to prepare with #SkillsForLife. We generally meet during term times in Sutton Scotney, South Wonston or Worthy Down but try to get ‘out and about’ as much as possible.

To find out what we have been up to recently, have a look at our Annual Report.
